Akai Taiyo Artistry 

Cynthia J. is a New York City base make-up aritst. Cynthia J. adopted the industry name Akai Taiyo (Japanese meaning for Red Sun)  to represent life presents new opportunities as the rising sun. Akai started as a makeup enthusiast restricting it to a hobby. Akai decided to pursue makeup artistry as a career when she received business inquiries after applying makeup for a public speaker.

Akai attended Makeup Designory (MUD) in New York City to expand her skills and knowledge in make-up artistry. Since then, Akai has provided services for fahsion shows, television, magazines and other media outlets.
